Train For You Walks

Train For You Walks

If walks with your dog feel stressful, unpredictable, or far from enjoyable, the Wilde Dogs Train For You service is designed to take that pressure off while still creating real, lasting change. We step in and do the hands-on work for you, turning everyday walks into structured training sessions that reshape your dog’s behaviour and bring calm back into your routine.

Each session is followed by WhatsApp updates and progress reports detailing everything we covered, allowing you to easily implement the strategies on your own walks. In addition, you’ll receive daily WhatsApp support along with video analysis of your walk videos, allowing us to make tweaks that improve your walks even when we’re not there. Not only will this supercharge your progress, it will also make you feel supported and confident when out enjoying life with your dog.

This is where progress happens consistently, and where better habits are built through real-world experience. Training is only effective if it works in the real world.

Why Wilde Dogs Train For You Walks stand out

Structured training on every walk

These aren’t just exercise outings. Every walk is carefully planned to work on key behaviours like loose lead walking, engagement, neutrality around distractions, and calm decision-making. Your dog is learning every step of the way.

Professional handling, consistent results

We apply clear, consistent training techniques throughout each walk, helping your dog understand exactly what’s expected. This consistency is key to breaking unwanted habits and building reliable new ones.

Ideal for busy owners

If life is hectic or you’re struggling to find the time or consistency needed, this service keeps your dog progressing even when your schedule is full. You can feel confident knowing your training is still moving forward.

Real-world exposure done right

Your dog is guided through everyday environments, passing people, dogs, traffic and distractions, with calm, structured support. This helps build confidence and reduces reactivity over time.

Progress without the overwhelm

For many owners, knowing where to start can feel difficult. We take that pressure off by doing the initial groundwork, creating noticeable improvements that you can then maintain and build on.

Supporting your relationship, not replacing it

While we handle the training during walks, the goal is always to transfer those results back to you. As your dog improves, you’ll find walks becoming calmer, more enjoyable, and something you can both look forward to again.

Positive, science-based approach

We use reward-based, modern training methods that encourage your dog to make better choices willingly. This creates a dog that’s more focused, relaxed, and engaged on walks, without fear or force.

What you can expect

  • Noticeable improvements in loose lead walking and overall control

  • A smoother, more enjoyable walking experience when you take the lead

With the Wilde Dogs Train For You service, you’re not just getting help with exercise. You’re investing in consistent, structured training that transforms how your dog behaves out in the world.

QUALIFICATIONS

I have nearly 4 years experience working with dogs of all shapes, breeds, sizes and ages. In 2021/2022 I completed my Puppy School Tutor Training under the supervision of Gwen Bailey, one of the UK’s most respected dog behaviourists. During this course and throughout my years assisting with Surrey and South London Dog Training School, I have learnt about basic obedience including recall and loose lead walking but more importantly I have learnt the way in which dogs communicate with us and each other. This helps me to understand how your dog is feeling and support them accordingly which builds trust and confidence. Most recently I became a fully qualified trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and a member of the UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter. I am fully insured and trained in canine first aid so your pup is in safe hands with me.
